Started its crude oil business in 2003, China Arts Huahai is among the 16 companies in china first involved in the so called “non-state run” crude oil import business with a n initial import quota of 150,000 metric tons for the beginning and an increase progressively for the years following.

China Arts Huahai established its crude oil business centre in charge of crude oil import , trading and distribution, etc. through their Effort unremittingly, the company has established  long stable business relationships with oil majors and end-users both home and abroad. Now its oil purchase covers far east, middle east and west African grades. Thanks to its well experienced oil traders and good service to the domestic end-users, huahai’s crude oil business achievements and good performance has been widely approved.

In 2007 ,along with CNPC, SINOPEC, CNOOC, SINOCHEM, China Arts Huahai acquired the crude oil distribution license and became one of the five companies that first been license granted both for crude oil import and crude oil distribution licenses, paving the way for its future crude oil business development. With the rapid development of China's economy and a increasingly decentralization of the domestic petroleum markets, China Arts Huaha’s crude oil business will have a brighter future.
